Gastro/EUS
Ergonomic intervention and therapy
Gastro/EUS CLEARLY DEFINED
FUJIFILM's EUS suits a variety of applications, ranging from oesophageal or gastric cancer staging to endoscopic interventional procedures and therapeutic applications. Over the last ten years, the diagnostic importance of endoscopic ultrasound has increased. FUJIFILM offers 360° electronic radial echoendoscopes for diagnostic EUS and longitudinal scopes, available with integrated working channels from 2mm to 3.8mm for therapeutic examinations, such as FNA and cyst drainage. With FUJIFILM’s ultrasound systems, clinical staging of lymph node involvement becomes more accurate, more precise and ultimately more beneficial for the patient. With the launch of the K-Series EUS scopes, the EG36-J10UR radial endoscope, the EG38-J10UT 360° longitudinal convex bronchoscope and EG34-J10U longitudinal convex bronchoscope , FUJIFILM provides the premium ultrasound image quality, with solid-state reliability and the advantage of colour and power Doppler.

Real-time Tissue Elastography (RTE)
Endoscopic RTE allows benign and malignant lymph nodes to be characterised and differentiated – with high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy. This provides complementary information to the conventional EUS imaging and offers a better target for FNA in patients with multiple lymph nodes. Mapping of the tissues’ elasticity distribution can provide more information to aid in the differentiation of focal pancreatic masses."
